DEAN ONISHI

Senior Director of Documentation and Certification at Procore Technologies

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Amanda for over six years. Each day she would come to work with a team-first attitude and infectious positive energy. Combined with an impeccable worth ethic and willingness to tackle any project, Amanda was an ideal team member. What I admire the most about Amanda is her grit and willingness to constantly challenge herself. Whether it’s taking coding courses, starting her own Etsy shop, becoming an SME of WalkMe and Pendo, or volunteering to be a presenter at new employee orientation classes to refine her public speaking skills, she's constantly striving to better herself and grow her skill set. I was so proud of her when she was selected to be one of the guest presenters at the Pendo user conference in 2019. I have no doubt that Amanda would be a key contributor to any high-performing team.

Amanda is phenomenal employee with a wide range of skills and experience. She is a long-time Procorian at 5 years and, having worked in multiple departments and across multiple roles, has an incredible understanding for of the needs and friction that arises in a high-growth tech company. She’s shown a knack for bringing multiple disciplines together and educating them on topics she’s passionate about that are important to her organization’s future. She’s been a critical member of multiple cross-discipline projects, including a Pendo rollout (from scratch) and the Culture Amp working group in UX, as well as having attended many coaching and L&D sessions over the years. Her positive spirit, can-do attitude, strong social abilities, and extreme care for Procore and those around her mark her as a distinguished employee and an incredibly valuable individual that any company would wish they had.
